I’m a company driver with Challenger in Ontario, Canada. A guy was with me in orienation. Said he drove 10 years for Schneider and they let him go because evidently they didn’t want to pay him for his experience. The way I see it Schneider’s model of business is: -hire rookies -train them well -pay them dimes and nickels -get rid of them after 1 or 3 years -hire more rookies But Schneider may be a great choice if you are looking for your first carrier fresh out of the driving school. Even with 3 months OTR experience you will have OPTIONS - Celadon hires drivers with minimum 3 mo experience.
